We are committed to the Biosphere certification and to the region's food heritage.
The Cortiço has always seen itself as a keeper of the region's food heritage. We know how important sustainable tourism is, and we work to reduce our impact, support local produce and contribute to the life of the city, following the principles of the World Charter for Sustainable Tourism.
We are committed to meeting the requirements of the Biosphere Restaurant standard and the applicable law, keeping our team trained and motivated in responsible tourism practices, fighting any form of exploitation or discrimination, and making our premises accessible to everyone as far as possible.
Our Responsible Tourism Policy is updated whenever circumstances require.
